Imagine you're talking with a member of the opposite sex you're attracted to.

So you're talking to each other, or you're busy doing something else, and then suddenly you look at each other without saying a word. You keep looking at each other and have this kind of "moment" - well at least that's what it feels for you, and maybe them (?).

When does this happen?

Is it usually mutual?

It happens at random if she's attracted to you. It's generally mutual.

Happens all the time with my girlfriend. It's a look that says a lot without actually saying anything. It's mutual or they wouldn't be staring back like that.

Mutual as far as it exists in that moment. But 48 hours later, when she's had 100's of texts from orbiters and 100's of Tinder matches and you haven't met a girl since? That moment assumes far greater significance for you than it does her. So you're both attracted but not necessarily equally invested.

Very true here, definitely should capitalize one those moments.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I had a girl a while back that I had some great sechs with on a 2nd date. A few days after she tells me she was really attracted to me, my peenus was the biggest she ever had, and the sechs was top notch.......but she just didn't feel that spark meaning I guess the feeling wasn't mutual for her! Some of these girls are looking for a rare species of "butterflies" during these moments. quite humorous to me.
