When a lion takes over a Pride, all cubs from the previous male lion are killed as there can be no stepchildren allowed to get in the way of his lineage.

Could you imagine if humans behaved the same way? Women would be asking on first dates "So....do you intend to kill my current children if we get together?"

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

If we did evolve from a less sophisticated kind, I think this scenario would have been dealt with in a raw and animalistic manor.
Without current social dynamics this scenario would have hardly even come to fruition as it was survival of the fittest. What kind of low tier qualities would have had to be going on in a prehistoric community for this to be become an issue? If the alphas are capable and strong, the community would never get to the point of this being an issue to deal with because it would have likely gone just as you described in the lion pride. Dealt with swiftly and effectively. Never comprehending it as a problem (killing a young offspring) because it was just nature running it course, naturally producing the newer better generation of human.

Women would have never left their man as he would be their literal lifeline in that scenario. Regardless of how much she cared about him, her survival instinct would have forced her to stay with him...unless a rival took her from him by force.

I think that’s reasonable and should have a carve out in the legal system if she wants your seed.

Right. It's part of their inherent design. The ones who couldn't seamlessly move on to the next alpha or community, and lead a genuine happy existence form that point, were removed from the gene pool.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Guys would never do that because that would mean after you smash the single (former) mom you couldn't grab a Lunchable and a Capri Sun on the way out the door.

What if women were black widows?

Why can't I see my eyes?

Where does a circle end?

Are we there yet?

Are we there yet?
