from personal experience this one is a good one to use to break the ice.

all restaurants have diffrent birthday protocols...some u get a cupcake, others you get a reduced price meal and others give u some free drink if your of age. My personal favorite (and this can be done at any time...but its been best responded to on the first date) is to say to the girl "im going to use the restroom" get up and go and find your waitress as long as your not in plain eye sight of your date mention to her that its your dates birthday and u are wondering if they could send a few people over and sing happy birthday to her...

its best done with about 3-4 people, LOUD clapping people. the kind of **** that makes the whole restaurant stop eating and look at her. While the whole time your sitting there with a "s*$t eating grin on your face." Watching her turn BRIGHT red. its always good for a laugh.

try it sometime...its never failed me!

Thats a ballsy move for the first date, unless you have a really good vibe. But Id probably try it on a 3rd or 4th date, because then it would seem really out there and unexpected, if you did it for your first date you might come off as weird.

Well the chick should already have a good idea of your personality if she's on a date with you. If it's incongruent with who you are then yes it would be weird.

Otherwise, I like it August Sky. Definately a fresh idea, props!

The only constraint is, it has to be her B'day on your first date.

The whole point of it is that it isn't her birthday thats why it's funny. I've never tried this on a date but I have on friends. It's always funny. I would try it bc she will laugh and if she doesn't then you don't want to date her anyways. Also dinner dates are boring so it will be entertaining and she will have a memory of you.

yea it doesn't have to be with a girl specifically, ive done it with my buddies too and its always hilarious. even your parents if you have a good relationship with them its good for as well.
