She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.
You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.
The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
The drawback is you would have to outlive everyone you love. Probably why Wolverine is such a bitter dude.Cure said:definatly accelerated healing (I presume we are talking wolverine style here?),
you'd be healthy and live for hundreds of years, and can get super strong/master many skills in that time, you'd be all but immune to death if you were careful and wore some decent body armour in addition.
Cure.
unlimited intelligence doesn't entitle people to unlimited possibilities. For example, being smart doesn't mean you'll be able to manipulate the laws of gravity, thermodynamics, or break the speed of light barrier.Credos said:If i would want a superpower it would be like Irenicus from baldurs gate 2 blowing up people with a single wave of your hand:

But if you guys would use your minds for once you should know a superior intelligence wins all... You can invent something to take all the other powers if they excist... And even if you can't, you can still make a machine for strength, something to heal you rapidly, something to enchance your speed... intelligence wins, and it's been proven in real life already...
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
That kind of goes out the window when you're talking about superpowers since most break physical laws anyway.synergy1 said:unlimited intelligence doesn't entitle people to unlimited possibilities. Yes it does... You know everything so that means you know how you can manipulate everything...synergy1 said:unlimited intelligence doesn't entitle people to unlimited possibilities. Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
