"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

If you can't go to bars/clubs

It seems one of the prime places to go cruising, or "sarging" as you guys like to put it, is a club/bar.

The problem is I'm under 21, and I live in an area that doesn't have any "under 21" clubs. So what should I do to make up for it? Where are some other places I could go? Thanks in advance, guys. :woo:

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Try bookstores, libraries, colleges, malls...
First decide what type of woman you want.
Do you want a woman who works out? Go to a gym.
Do you want a woman who can dance well? Sign up for dancing lessons.
Get the vibe?
First decide the kind of woman you want and think, "If I were that woman, where would I go?" And go there. :)

I guess I gotta figure that out. I don't know what kind of woman I'm looking for to be honest... a woman? I know thats vague. :p

I just don't have enough experience yet to know I suppose.

Get a fake! Scan your license into Photoshop...paste the 1 from 198y-whatever over the last digit - print it to high quality photo paper, put it in the window of your wallet. Unless you look like you're 12

I don't have the comp skills and necessary equipment to do that but thanks for the idea nonetheless.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Personally I don't agree with this advice. I'd rather do something *I* like and see if there are any worthy girls. If you do EVERYTHING you'd like to do, eventually you'll find the perfect girl you are looking for + tons of other girls to bang.

Well, this makes sense too.

I really don't know know what to think.

The one thing I know is a reliable place to find good looking women around here at least is the grocery store. I'm an avid cooker and like to go there anyway, so seeing pretty womens always a plus for me.

Hit up the Mall.

Best opener...find a woman who is walking by herself, and just start talking to her. Comment on her purse. "That is a big purse what you got in there a dog?" Just don't ask something creepy like "Where are you going?" or "You got a gun in there." Also if possible, if you can be subtle, follow her around a bit, or eye her to make sure she does not have a boyfriend with her. And if you can't be subtle, just try your hardest to be. Cus the minute she spots you following her, you will go from "cute guy in the mall" to "possible stalker."

Yeah man there are tons of girls at the mall at all times.

Oh yeah don't follow her around (wtf?) just go up and talk to her once you make eye contact and it looks good. Flash her a lil smile, and if she smiles back, you're already in.

You're not missing too much. At least where I live, the majority of the clubs/bars are littered with people who are way too drunk and the music is way too loud to hold a conversation without yelling.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

So much easier said then done. If everything you do is predominately male, then it's hard to meet women like that. At least it hasn't worked for me either way.

Now, I do have one advantage in this area.

I'm very interested in cooking. Infact I'm going to be a chef for a living. So I have something I can easily talk to many women about, and it actually interests them.

Not necessarily. If you are into "manly sports", you will befriend your teammates and they'll probably introduce you to their girl-friends (not girlfriends, girl-friends). That's just an example.
