"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

So long story short I was seeing this chick, who lives about two hours away from me. About a month ago she goes completely ghost, would hardly ever text me. Once the paperwork starting come through with her divorce she kind of closed herself off but we started talking again.

Was suppose to go out and see her this week but she ended up working overtime and we couldn't meet up. We made plans on a saturday and I came out there monday assuming our plans were still on, she ended up not texting me back until the next day because she was working overtime. While I was out there I went to this hookah lounge and had a smoke, I recognized the owner and asked the guy if he has seen the girl around .. HE's like yeah she was here the other day Im like oh cool, do you remember if she was with her girlfriends who was she was with? He told me no she was by herself. Im like oh ok...then he's like why is everything ok? Can I take a name? Im like ok tell her mike said hey .

I admit I kind of had a brain fart here, I should of kept my mouth shout but was this crossing the line IYO? Keep in mind its not like Ive only been on one date with the chick... she never friend zoned me, and she contacted me literally two days before all this happened and we were talking about taking a trip together. Ive already made out with her a couple times....

Obviously I creeped her out. Any way I can still make things right here?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Another guy? Busy with stuff? Depressed over her divorce? The list could be endless. Looks like she flaked. You know what to do.
