You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Just found out today, from reading a girls online profile...

About 2 weeks ago I think I drunkenly mentioned to a girl I've been seeing...

"Im still testing you"... as in "you're not my gf yet" sort of thing.

She said back "well I'm still testing you then". Then I remember we sat down, and she said. "Well I still don't know you that well, what are your aims in life"...

Well today, she changed her online profile from interested in men, to women and posted she was being gay for a day!

Now I don't use this profile site much and try not to talk to her on it, instead focusing on when Im actually with her.

==========

Her friend posted on her wall, "gay eh, you may be on trial even more so"

Forgive me if im paranoid, but I think this girl thinks Im testing her- and I know I shouldn't have said what I said but whats the best way to move on from this. She is a great girl and treats me with a lot of respect :rockon:

She changed her status from single to nothing but mine still says single- she hasn't asked me to change it :rolleyes: THink I shouldn't message or contact her thru this site for now....

I doubt she even thought about you when she changed it.

Heh, a little takeaway and she has you worried.

Tell her you will cure her of her lesbianity.

That sounds gd, might drop that tonight....

but yeah I've been going to extremes, thinking I should next, then the next minute thinking I shouldn't... thats what happens when you get snowed in my friends.

Anyway, Im not worried about her sense of humour, Im mildly concerned upon seeing her friends post, about her on trial- I know a DJ covertly effects this feeling but does not overtly let a girl know this.
