"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Well, after being in a 2 year long relationship, breaking up and getting over it all I think I'm finally ready to get back out there. A little info... I'm a sophmore in college and in a frat. Needless to say I'm pretty social... Even when I don't want to. Anyway, I'm not too much into the Sorority slut scene at all. I'm really digging life right now. I got friends, school is going good and my hobbies really keep me interested. Anyhow, there is this one girl I want to try and go after. We've chilled out quite a few times beforehand. Anyhow, over Thanksgiving break while I'm sitting on the couch the entire time surfing the web we started talking on Aim. Yea, I know... Not the best but its a start. You know, the typical 3 hour convo into the wee hours of the night and all that jazz. We then chill out the day I get back. Her idea. We had a blast. That was last weekend. This week has been so busy for me, but I called her up the other day and asked her to lunch. She said sure... You know sounded excited about it and all. Texted me a couple of times before the lunch fling and whatnot. Went out and had another great time. That was yesterday. ... Now what? Do I keep asking her to chill and dates or what. Intiate kino? Help an old DJ out.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Mugen,

Call her tomorrow and make plans for another date. Ask her out that very same night since shes obviously interested in you. Keep the mystery up, remain C&F and tease her a bit.

Example:

Me: Hey! hows your day been?
Her: Oh, blah blah yada yada
Me: How about you make your day a million times better by seeing me this evening. You get extra points to by letting me surprise you with where we're going.

Just an idea. Feel free to improve ;)

Sorry and thanks. It's exam week... If mods could move it to the appropriate section that would be great...

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
