Uncharted
Master Don Juan
This whole experience made me feel WAYYY better about any other time I've gotten LJBF'd.
You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?
Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.
One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.
Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
Not saying you are wrong but, I could walk away and not answer the phone.LongLostFriend said:"I don't understand. She's serving it to you on a plate. Why not hit it a time or two? You could walk away any time."
No, he couldn't walk away at any time. "Crazy/stalker" trumps "hot and DTF" every time. Not worth the collateral damage.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
Actually no. She's not serving it to him on a plate, and she'll most likely NEVER sleep with him, she's just trying to use her sexuality to regain her validation. Once her ego is fed by him eating it up she'll drop him because shes proven to herself once and for all that she is hot.5string said:I don't understand. She's serving it to you on a plate. Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
Well said. Even if she refuses to give it up, he can still walk. Why not give it a shot? Nothing to lose.AlexLefty said:First let me just say that this thread is ****ing epic! It makes me feel good inside when gender roles are reversed and girls have to deal with the ****.
Also, good ****ing job on replying to her texts, handled it like a pro![]()

The only way she would sleep with him is if she is VERY VERY VERY ****ing insecure, and she needs the sex, rather than the compliance, to feel she has regained her validity.
Social repercussions. If she's in the same social circle, or knows some of the same people he does, going after her could negatively impact him. Even though he has nothing to lose with HER, he has something to lose elsewhere. For ex: If he says '**** it', and then she rejects him, she now has the power to tell this to all her friends...she can tell everyone what a loser he is and how he just wants her for sex blah blah etc. etc. If they know the same people, this could directly hurt his chances with said girl.5string said:Well said. Slowly getting mad, saying things like: " well you are putting too much emphasis on the fact that I am you friend"TillTheEndOfTime said:Was slowly what?
