I have mentioned this in regard to a post or two before, I work with a professional sports team. This past weekend, we hosted an event at our stadium.
Because G*d likes to mindfvck with me, a HB 8.5 from one of the schools was working with our department. Not only that, but it was set up that she would be working alongside me somewhat. Soon after, when I was the only one in our department's office, she stopped by to put her jacket away, then suggested we exchange numbers so we'd be in touch (in regard to what was happening that night). I was fine with that lol, though I'm not really a decision-maker in the department. Later on, she asked for my e-mail so she can send along a packet they needed to be printed - I gave her my e-mail, but also out department's since the latter was easier to work with and I was nowhere near a computer. Over the course of the night, we had good rapport, good conversation, and she insisted I help her deliver some notes a few times though I honestly feel one person can easily do it (I didn't say anything...of course I'd work with the HB
). It's not as if we were around one another consistently though, it was very on-and-off since everyone was scrambling to different places.
I will mention this briefly because I know someone will say something if I don't: My company is strict enough that any noticeable signs of flirting/kino would result in a trip to HR or, if one of my department heads noticed, being canned. Therefore, I will not take any risks in this area at work, my job is easily more important.
Above, I inferred why I don't think anything will happen. Here's why: The school she works at is just under 1,000 miles away.
With that being the huge mountain of an obstacle, I can't see anything working out. But am I wrong? Also, I we exchanged numbers. Is there any small-talk text I can send? Just trying to think of ideas.
