I'm always pulling out my phone when I'm drunk, calling my friends... anybody and everybody.

I got this girl's number like a year ago from the bar, I ended up ruining my chances with her by drunk dialing. The worst part is I still remember her number and drunk dial her every time I'm tanked.

It's like I just can't control it. Do you think I just don't care, or is it something else?

If they really like you then I don't think it will matter. I drunk dial a lot, most girls find it flattering and quite humorous. Don't beat yourself up for it. If it's creating such a problem for you try not bringing your phone then. Or having a friend hold it for you. Or place it somewhere for awhile instead of having it on you constantly.

Wait a minute. You ruined your chances with some chick you met at the bar because of drunk dialing? Did you two ever date?

Before you go drinking, take the battery out and leave it with a friend or in your car or something.

I'd like to see you drunk dial without it.

It could be that you are lonely and don't feel connected to anyone. not even your friends. you reach out to anyone when you are drunk. I used to drunk dial the girl I thought I was in love with every time I was drunk and single. When I as seeing someone I never did.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I'm not gonna lie guys. Here's the story.

I knew her from work a little over a year ago. We rarely talked as we were in different departments. She ended up quitting. 6 months later I saw her at the bar, we talked for a bit (I was drunk) and I got her number. I called to set something up with her for the next weekend (I was drunk again), and it's been nothing but random drunk dials ever since. The only time I've ever even talked to this chick is when I'm wasted. So I'm thinking major confidence issues.

And Warrior that's true, in a weird way I don't feel connected to anyone. I don't know why, it's weird.

It is something else... called immaturity. That's the truth, not a personal attack.
A. Don't drink so much that you call people you wouldn't otherwise talk to at that time.
B. Delete any numbers out of your phone if you have not talked to that person in several months (esp. girls)
C. Grow up.

Next time you get the urge to drunk dial, go out to the sidewalk, get down on your hands and knees, apply forehead to pavement at high velocity repeatedly until urge to drunk dial passes or you pass out from blood loss.

Don't get that drunk! simple as that. Be more responsible, even though it's a club or a party.

How drunk are you getting? Cause I know I only ever get the urge to do it if Im really really really hammered, even then I know only to call close friends/family.

Maybe limit you intake a little?
