How would you respond ?

Chick was a **** buddy to my best friend for a while. Chick moves on and does her thing. Chick pops out of nowhere and throws herself into my field of view several times over the past month to get my attention. I finally take the bait and tell her to come watch the fight with myself and a few friends tomorrow night.

Chick says she would love to " but has to be with her little boy". I know she has a kid but I also know this chick very well and this being tied down by a kid thing is bull****. How would you play this ?

She has a kid. If she cared enough she could find or already knows a babysitter. I say AW.
'Whatever you want to do is fine with me', and NC unless she initiates later forget her.

Or just don't respond. Communication is open at this point, you reached out......leave it alone until she reaches out again. If she wants it, she knows where to find it.

I have kids, have had to pass on chicks I like because of my girls. I would assume it's a legitimate excuse and just tell her another time. Ask her out again, if that is what you want, and see what happens. If she makes excuses without a counter offer, just walk away from her.
