"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

How to smile less in everyday life?

I smile a lot when talking with people and I like to laugh a lot and end up saying witty creative things generally in conversation with people. I don't do this to "people please", I just like to have my fun this way. I can do decent with my social circle game just being myself at the moment, but I could be more masculine and start getting with hotter and more exotic women, especially in cold approach. I've always struggled with being the most masculine guy.
So, how would I start smiling less in order to put that into my system without overthinking and being self conscious?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

just be yourself and be comfortable, if you want to be more masculine hit the gym and buy yourself a nice flannel jacket

Why in the BLUE HELL would you want to smile less?

I wouldn't say that smiling less means you are more masculine. It may make you seem more serious which can indirectly make you seem more masculine, but surely that serious image would contradict your fun social persona, which you have been using and tailoring for years o make yourself unique.

Plus smiling is seen as an attractive trait. Girls like guys who smile, guys like girls who smile. It's the most universally recognised body sign for a reason, it means the same thing to everyone.

Being fun and smiling all the time doesn't mean you aren't masculine. It may make you seem less serious, but is that really a bad thing?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Seriously, everyone loves a warm inviting smile. Smiling releases endorphins to make you and the people around the happy. Why the hell would you not want that?

I have this same problem. Girls don't respond that well to a guy who smiles too often. Flashing a smile here and there is great, when you can't stop, not so much.

It just takes practice and effort. You have to remind yourself to not smile.

Smiling is fine if that's the way a guy naturally is. I know a smiley guy who always has like a HB7.5 gf.

The ONLY time you might possibly tone down the smiling is for a ONS. IME most ONS' are not between the super smiley funny guy and friendly giggly girl. It is usually a serious or neutral (like Stagger Lee says) acting guy AND a cold, business-like almost pissed off appearing female*.

*This is not to be confused with a b@tch shield. B@tch shield => little or no interest. Cold/businesslike DTF => high interest.

Oh holy crap... seriously?

If you have to constantly remind yourself to be "serious" and not smile... you guys are analyzing all of this way too much.

If you think women don't respond to men who smile "too much"... trust me, it's not the over-bearing smile that might be problem.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
