So anyway our school band has to go play at some college this weekend and we have to wear a tux shirt and black pants all day long (including 5 hours on the bus). How could I make it fit my style a bit more for the bus ride at least? I usually wear collared shirts with only the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th from the bottom buttons done. Basically I dress preppy and all that AE and A&F stuff. I've got a bow tie and cumberbun too but I only have to wear that for the performance. Is it gonna look retarded if I have most of the buttons undone and the shirt untucked with a pleated tux shirt?

bring some kind of button up under it. maybe pink or somethin and wear some white etnies or dc shoes. kinda be loose and dont tuck anything in

maybe its just me and my opinion, but you can conform and look clean and nice and dressed up for one day, it is going to look stupid if you ask me to leave any buttons undone or to not tuck something in, when people do that at gatherings, they are always laughed and looked down upon behind their backs even by other kids or young adults.

Yea I was planning on leaving it tucked in because it's really long but hanging out a bit and unbuttoning the top two or so buttons. But if you all think it'll just make me look stupid then obviously I'll conform. I would still leave one button undone at the top because it chokes me but that's all. Should I wear my black dress shoes on the bus or stick with my tennis shoes:
