“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Your genes will only take you so far, and then so will the way you dress, and the work you do.

Obviously you can work on all these aspects at the same time (and should) to make the transition faster. The only issue is clothes. If you are a skinny guy now and buy a new wardrobe, and eventually put 50lbs of mass, you will most likely have to buy again, which sucks.

I would say a good transition would be;

A) You are an average looking guy
Hence, work on your physical appearance, notably your facial features. Trim your beard, get a fitting haircut for your head type/ear type, etc. If you have dry skin, use lotion, etc. This will bring you to the next level

B) You are now a pretty guy
Hence, you need to keep working on your physique to make you hot. Now that you maximized what nature has given you (facial-wise), it's time to work on the rest of what was given to you; your body. Hit the gym, work on your posture, and your body language

C) You are now a hot guy
Once you got a good physique from pumping iron/being active, and you take care of your physical appearance (trim your bead, good haircuts, lotion if you have dry skin, etc.), the next big step is clothes. Clothes play an essential role in the way women look at you. I have had both worlds: Physically very muscular, but dressed like ****. Then, due to a nasty injury, I lost most of my mass, but I learned how to dress very nice (matching colors, matching patterns, fashionable clothes, good shoes, etc.). Let me say, the latter got me more attention from the ladies than the former. So yes, having a good physique helps, but what is really important is how you portray it, such as clothes.

D) You are now a gorgeous guy
This is where I am at now. However, I want to reach the final step. The step that puts you apart from "gorgeous", that most men can easily reach. Y'know, be the kind of guy that women will fantasize about. Obviously I don't want to be a Brad Pitt or a George Clooney, these guys have things I do not (fame and fortune), but I refused to believe you need forture, power or fame to reach the final status of physical attraction.

Here is where I ask you guys. How do you go from gorgeous, to dreamy?

To be honest, I'm not sure that you can necessarily go from "average looking guy" to "pretty guy", let alone go from "average looking guy" all the way to beyond "gorgeous". I mean, yeah you can dress better, change your style, and chisel your physique, but at some point some people are limited by genetics.

Just as an example, how would you tell Steve Buscemi to reach that level beyond gorgeous (well, he could start by fixing his teeth, but even so)? Marty Feldman?

Aside from which, from the way I hear girls talk, I would say "gorgeous" is probably about as high a compliment physically that a guy is likely to get.

Seriously? Man this is the gayest thread I've come across on here in a long time.

"The gyms are crowded with guys trying to like men, as if being a man means looking the way a sculptor or movie director says" Tyler Durden, Fight Club

Trying to please society's eyes is a quest with no ending.

Says the attractive, muscluar, low body fat Tyler Durden.

Right.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Calling Tyler Durden muscular is like calling Roseanne Barr petite...

Muscular compared to who?

That's a pig that don't fly straight...

Um, Tyler Durden is a fictional character from the book, the director that made it into a movie decided to make him muscular.
Most people identify with the movie. So I take it you agree with the author of the book about how going to the gym is pathetic? How about brushing your teeth? This is becoming a very slippery slope.

Not powerlifter muscular, but sculpted and lean with little body fat. Compared to the average guy, I would say his character was defnitely muscular. But "musclar" or not, the quote is pretty ironic considering the character in the movie who says it is the epitome of a male model.

Give the chick some extra booze and that will happen right before her eyes.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

SPOILER ALERT

The Tyler Durden character, remember, is just a figment of the imagination of Ed Norton's character. So really, he looks like Ed Norton. But I guess he believed he looked like Brad Pitt, lol.

To continue n00bPimp's point, many women will be turned off by a guy who is too interested in his own looks. For example, I know many women who are turned off by the idea of a man who spends too much time on his hair. Why? Because primping oneself to look good is seen as a feminine trait, rather than a masculine trait. I'm all for looking good, and certainly for working out. But women seem to want a guy who looks good with minimal effort. They're not supposed to spend a lot of time getting themselves together - that's feminine.

Let me also continue my point from my previous post. Take Steve Carell, for example. Pretty good looking fellow, plays the leading man in a lot of romantic comedies. But he's always going to look like Steve Carell. He's never going to look like George Clooney, know what I mean?

Its one thing to be hygienic and stay fit for health purposes, its another to go to the gym because you want to be like someone else.

There have been times myself getting frustrated and going through the pain and stress and heartache with the rigmarole of fitting into other people's little worlds of prejudice, snobbery, exclusion of others different from them.

My thoughts were, being around narcissistic youth many times in my late teens was that if you are a 'hottie' you might as well not take your 'beauty' for granted, because you'll end up feeling, and being treated, like I was. Sure at the time it probably won't occur to you what might happen when they fade.

Around this age you are told all these BS philosophies and anecdotes about confidence and positivity, but these vary with context. Yeah, if you succeed at a job interview or get a degree. Dating? No.

I was encouraged when younger to go to these places to meet other young people by my parents.

I was probably dangerously close to becoming a hermit by this point, but generally most of the time taking up opportunities to meet people were in vain.

Sure, I've had girls be nice to me casually, but its just seemed to happen when you lowered your expectations, and through experience in clubs/bars and being around girls closest to my age, I really lowered them when I realised 'what its all about'. Generally, I was the socially inept weirdo and nothing could change that.
