"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Yes, that's right. I'm trying to get friendzoned. The new city that I live in has a lot to offer and I really want female (and male) friends to make a HUGE social circle.

The best way for me to meet quality women is through social circle. Tinder doesn't work for me, neither does speed dating or cold approach. When I'm out with cool people, women practically fall in my lap and often they are super duper high quality. Because of my social proof, they have already screened me and thus trust me. Getting dates with them is cake.

My new place is sick - I have access to multiple pools, BBQ area, etc and my place is a total bachelor pad. I want to have lots of friends over and I'm wondering what's the best way for me to form this circle. Ideas? Going to my first meetup event tomorrow.

For the first couple months, I could care less if I get dates. But I would consider it a failure if I don't make at least 4-5 new friends who I hang out consistently with. I know I cannot start off in this new place isolated, or else I'm doomed.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Get to know men that are confortable with women and have some in their social circle. Keep your eyes open daily 24/7. Easiest way to build proof.

Good plan... except don’t focus on just female friends. Focus on making friends in general.

Why not go on dates though? You could use a dating app or just hit on girls when you go out.

I've turned a few girls I dated from OLD into friends. So that's one way. Join some clubs - a sport club of some kind for a sport you are sort of into. Lots of friend-circles form out of those and most are very co-ed.

Bumble has a section to meet women outside of dating. Pretty easy to meet with them on a platonic level.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
