"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Hi Guys,

I've tried the search before posting this, but haven't been very succesful. So I want to ask you guys for a little advice.
How do you deal with really really shy girls?
Because I'm having trouble to get into this one's world... to kind of brake her shield :)
It's been impossible to talk to her, since she never answer's her mobile phone and when I see her, she's always with her (male)friends. And on top of that she's really shy and quiet. So it's been really really hard to talk to her, even though we talked a few times before, but she looked quite unconfortable and monossilabic.
She has showed me signs of interest several times. She always stares at me, but when I go for the eye contact, she looks away. But at the same time, she doesn't seem too want me to get close to her.
Well... I really don't understand this. I'm trying to get a chance to ask her out. Or if you prefer to give her a chance to go out with me :p
Advices will be really appreciated. Sorry for the long post.

Cheers!

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Shyness....

If you can get a shy one to give you the booty, congrats! It's a good time for real.

Now if it takes longer than two weeks, probably best just to find someone else.

My best friend was going out with a shy chick (his current GF). It took him a while, to get sex from her, couple of months he told me. It's more than 2 years passed they're still together, so i guess it worked out. My other friend was dating yet another shy/inexperienced chick. Guess how long he waited for sex? Half a year!
Both of these girls are stable though, so maybe having a shy chick isnt that bad after all. It's a lot of effort to gain shy persons trust and get into the comfort zone.

Thx for the replies...
But I screwed up today...
The dialog was something like this
- do u like fireworks? (me)
- i suppose, why?
- wanna go to this place on saturday?
- dunno... maybe i was going with my friends...
- cool... c ya...

U guys have no idea how I'm killing myself for that last sentence... I dunno what was i thinking, I just should have kept it going...
So angry with myself at the moment...
I guess there is no way to fix this...

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

First of all, cool off!

And I hope you didn't just walk up to her and said:

"Do you like fireworks?"

That sounds pretty stupid.

Anyway, just approach her again just before the fireworks or whatever you wanted to do with her... and ask her: "Hey, the fireworks are tomorrow, are you still going to be doing something with your friends?"

Is she even cares at all, she'd probably say no and go with you.

Honestly, I reckon you just leave it alone and move on... just stop talking to her. What she said was pretty much a let down. She don't seem too interested.

Good luck.

I reckon it does :)
But we were chating a bit... just small talk... like "what u up to" and stuff like that... and then I said "by the way, do u like fireworks?"
But I'm pretty sure I won't see her tomorrow... well... if I happen to bump into her I'll try again...
Thx for the advice :)

She sounds like a snoozer dude.... the IL looks to be pretty low.... and yes, that exchange was weak.... you should have been, 'NO! ...get your coat on, you and I are going to see some God damn fireworks, and we're going to have a f'n great time, and that will be that.' ...then proceed to stick your tongue down her throat.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
