"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

So I went to take my dog out for a walk, and there was a fine woman smoking a cig at her garden gate. She called me over and started asking about my dog, then introduced herself. Just made some small talk and she said she's seen me around the area a few times (I didn't even know she was my neighbor). I want to get to know her better, and i don't want to just randomly knock on her door. How should I go about it?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

She asked about the dog, then started initiating with me, she introduced herself and called me babe. Just general questions. And the reason why i didn't try to get her number is cause my phone is broken atm. But she lives 4 doors away for me so it's easier. Also, she's like... 28, and i'm 20.

Basically she introduced herself, i introduced myself, and she said 'nice to meet you babe' and then we hugged.

EDIT: I most definitely didn't get friendzoned. She stumbled her words when she said bye, and the 'zone' doesn't even exist.
