In my experience, women will often say these kinds of things as a screen. There's usually some ring of truth to it, she may actually be frustrated as all heck and is on a 'men stupid' kick and just wants to dance it off and reject would be suitors to prove to herself 'she's got it' or something. Be that as it may, she hardly needs to doll herself up and hit the town to accomplish this, she could just record herself in the driver's seat of her car and fake cry about it while dropping her socials for people to flood her inbox. lol
I catch flak for it, but I see what a woman says, especially in any introductory 'cold' phase as HR speak. They know whether a position is available or not and that the right candidate can be pushed in, but they'll either list insanely high barriers to entry, a lowball salary, or give some weird objections. Similar to getting a paper slid across a table that says "8k down, 586mo, 23% interest, 7 year note." You'd be surprised how many people sign it right away. Much like how quickly people buy into what a woman says she's doing. On one hand it should be glaringly obvious you're getting skrewed while the other for some reason wants to believe everyone will be as honest as we would like to think we are.
I've rarely moved in on anyone who doesn't show an insane amount of IOI's. That's just me. I like to nonverbally communicate that I know what she is doing and drive her insane. Most of the time they give up, but when they don't oh god is that fun! Hehehe. That, and I'm going to admit I'm a tad vain and love to be given IOIs.... Is what it is.
Wow. What a long winded and needlessly parabolic way of saying "I think both ya'll have a point."
