"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Do you make your conversations quick and to the point and get off? Of do you sit there on the phone talking for long periods of time? What about those of you that really like a girl, do you have long phone talks or do you believe in saving your long talks for when you are face to face?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

As a guy we tend to use the phone as a tool for information so talking to girls or friends, I spend 30 seconds to 3 minutes on the phone and wait to I see them in person for long talks. It's not some DJ rule that I strictly follow, it's what I have been doing. I think the lognest I have ever talked on the phone was 10 minutes.

I would say save long talks for face to face, that way you can show off body language, do kino, make eye contact, smile.

THE LONGER the time on the phone the more likely to say something lame.

The problem is you start to develope virtual romance that is still two dimensional. Phones are best to set up dates, say hello, etc.

Conversation is for face to face. Increasing the phone call frequncy and time intervals is relationship material.

time spent on phone should be time spent face to face.

A phone is a tool, like the computer(I.m's, pics, emails) use it for setting up dates. If you need a friend call a friend, but if you want sex, keep phone calls to a minimum.

I hate phones. I got my cell phone bill last month, all and I all I spent a little less than 150 mintues on the phone. I get house phone calls but still the same. unless you are calling to see if you can come over, an emergency or I am calling to get you to come over or go out, I have no reason or time to talk to you

Chatting away on a cellphone is like IM'ing and texting and MySpace rubbish.

It's for chicks.

If Mrs. K or li'l K need to talk to me about something it's short and sweet. It's my rule and unbreakable. Even at work, it's A-B-C. Get to the fvcking point and be done. You'll be surprised how the respect factor shoots through the roof when you're congruent enough to stand your ground and swat away lame bullsh!t.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Exactly.

If you are calling a girl that you just met you need to make the conversation as brief as possible, remember you call to make a date you never do that in person.

When it's your girlfriend it is a whole other story. I even try not to talk that much with my girlfriends, I rather say what I have to in person. If I didn't need my mobile for work I would throw it out the window.
