And how does keeping track of something like this betters a DJ? I can never understand wasting effort on the negative. Guess what happens when you put your efforts toward the negative? You find even more of it!

Why not focus on the positive? Focus on increasing the number of approaches you make, no matter the outcome. Focus on how much better of a conversationalist you've become. Focus on how much more you can bench press. Just focus on the positive and stop setting yourself up for failure.

Francisco d'Anconia: err.. i dont see rejection as being something bad... rejection is the key to sexual prosperity... and this thread is for interest sakes... If someone has not been rejected in some way or another, then that should be a reality check for them that tells them that they are not approaching enough, etc...

And one more thing.. a technique rather... Try going out and telling yourself "ok, my mission tonight/today is to go to xxx and get rejected by xxx amount of girls[/I" then u go and approach girls and u just say what u want and dont give a sh!t if u get rejected.. weather they reject you or not, this is an amazing wat to uplift your confidence... and yes, i know that you are probably thinking that i am crazy and talking out of my ass.... i also thought that the 1st time i thought of it, but once i tried it, the results were suprising... in a good way that is. (The result for me was that i found myself able to go up to people without any fear of the outcome etc of approaching them.)

I have no idea how many times I've been shot down. It's not a lot, but I don't really keep a running total on it.

Besides, being shot down is only part of it. The real thing to keep in perspective is being able to try, and how thankfull you'll be in 40 years when you don't need to look back on the situation and say "I wonder what would have happend..."

How can ONE generalize and say that if you havent had atleast 10 rejections you havent gotten alot...
Im 18, I was rejected when I was 13 and once when I was now 18. Thats twice. Ive had nearly 100 girls since the age of 15 till now...I doubt anyone can match that number. So getting rejected doesnt mean you going to be succesful. Twice is alot for me, and ive had 100, basically some of you are saying If i got rejected 10 times I should have about 500 girls to my "little back book" ?

I got REALLY BLATENTLY rejected 11 times tonight. I made 24 approaches. I got 7 #s, made out with 6 (2 of which at the same time).

Ive made 81 approaches in 3 weeks... I get rejected enough for any 4 of you =)

You do have a point. If people are getting rejections because they aren't trying there is little value.

Rejections can be a sign that you are striving to always improve, try new things and learn.

Shooting fish in the same barrell is not the same as hitting one in the ocean.

Over hundred times, less than a thousand. I don't do so many approaches any longer so for a while I've had almost 100% success... I go for women who show interest, and it never fails.

Just like Lifeforce. I used to hardly approach at all many years ago, then had dozens of rejections per month for a while. Now I pick my shots ... or very often they pick me. I can pretty much gauge IL at a glance these days. I have very high percentages as far as #s leading to dates and dates getting pretty physical.

Totally agreed that anyone over 18 who has <10 rejections is not making enough of an effort or is so desirable he need not be here except to advise others.

Props to TonyTheTigerOI. You must be doing something right and/or looking sharp to make that many appproaches and have such a good %. Do tell more. We may be able to learn a thing or three.

are you guys just counting girls that rejcected you when you first approached or girls that rejected you meaning they dumped you while in a relationship?

If you wait for that "look" from a girl you will cut down your rejection rate drastically but unfortuanately girls that are interested don't always give the "look".
