You might want to define friends more closely. Also, you might want to seperate girlfriends from friends. I personally have had no girlfriends, but I have had a number of friends.

How many girlfriends one has made THIS YEAR???
It's been not even 5 months since the year has started, so if anyone had, say, 10+ girlfriends during this time -- which is the minimum option in your poll -- that would mean that they had a new gf each 2 weeks, AT LEAST. Do u see the problem ?

Let's not confuse girlfriends with dates, or with girls we might have slept with...

I disagree, though I think the question could have been worded more effectively. After all, how many aren't curious how they measure up in the partner count?

I have had 3 girl friends. Not much into having many girl firends I like to try to stick to one, but guess I get hit with the nice guy curse too often. As for friends, not that many. Most of my friends from school/college are all off doing something and I have lost touch. Only friends I still have left are mostly underage but still fun to chill with. Currently only one is still here the rest are away at college.

IE: I get bored a ton, I have way to much damn free time.

Soo anyone in the Rochester area that is bored look me up!

I have many aquantainces, but few friends. I don't use the word friend lightly. Friends are only a short step below family and principle.

I have never had a girlfriend. And every relationship I've seen so far make me very content with that. Yay for meaningless sex!

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
