just wondering how long to wait after the 1st date...took her out on monday, im thinking next week? is that too long? can't go for weekend right? i need to be 'busy' then....?
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
No, that's a bad idea. If the chick actually goes out of her way to try to see you, SHE WANTS YOU!!! Capitalize on that sh1t, man!md3sign said:If she offers to hang out before then it might be a good idea to refuse.
Definitely, man. If you've got an empty spot in your schedule, there's no reason to not use that time for dating!blinkwatt said:All that "wait 2,3 days is bull". DO WHAT YOU WANT! In my personal expierences if they like you they dont care when you call.
Look she already said she would 'love to' hang out again,WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?Just remember you had a life before her that you must still attend to.
Very true. These "rules" on when to call are yet another way in which the DJ Bible gives OVERCOMPENSATING advice to help rAFCs get rid of AFC habits and character traits. The problem is that most rAFCs end up taking this kind of advice too seriously, and as a result, we get questions like yours, Mr. Fantastic.kyphan said:That's because you're not using your gut, you're thinking too damn hard about doing the "right" thing. Your gut will tell you the answer, my friend.

This is also true, but in this case I wouldn't bother. As I, and a few others, have said already: this girl is clearly interested in you. No reason to start playing unnecessary games.Francisco d'Anconia said:Skipping the weekend altogether is good with someone you just meet. She'll begin wondering why you don't ever suggest doing something on the weekend. That's a good thing, it'll give her something to wonder about.
I would agree with you if it were established that truly interested and not just curious. Usually, a woman who is truly interested will ask you out on a weekend, in instances like that I would definitely accept. If she's playing the game of waiting to see what the guy will do, I say spend time with her during the week since she hasn't established herself as LT material. A woman who has stepped up and established (qualified) herself wins the honor of hanging out on the weekend. Make them earn it.Sean O said:This is also true, but in this case I wouldn't bother.
