How long should I wait?

I just got together with a girl a week ago and I really dont want to screw it up. So far we've only gone as far as making out. I want to take it farther and eventually go for sex sometime in the next month but I was thinking this might be rushing things. Shes not a virgin so I know shes comfortable with sex but I dont want to break up all because I went to fast. Any thoughts?
