"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

How long would you hold off on a girl who you tell "make a choice me,or the other(her boyfriend)"? I keep telling her to make a choice and that I dont wait. She always say "I dont know who Iam choosing",but I bet she is waiting for high school to get out so she doesnt have to see her "boyfriend" every day at school. Now I am becomming fed up and I have stopped answering her calls. After we talked on the phone last night, I gave her a quick "Bye" and hung up before she could. She called back 3 times that night(yesterday),I didn't answer. She called back again this morning saying "Hey its me just wondering what you are doing, give me call back if you want or dont want to,bye." Am I right in thinging to ignore her for a day, then perhaps contact her or answer my phone? If you were wondering, she is so hot that everyone at my job knows "oh,wow, that one". Any suggestions?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

You're doing the right thing. If you can, repair your ties so that you don't have someone that you have to ignore and avoid. If not, let her keep calling until she gets bored and stops. She had her chance.

Just for the record, I THINK you did the right thing by giving her ultimatum. It's not sharing, it's competition.

Very bad thing to do if you can't take the fact that you're taking her straight out of a relationship where she cares for another guy. She'll be very willing to cheat on you.

what I wouldve done is keep tappin it, and the 20 chicks I am bangin. Now you got some pissed off chick out there trash talking, but that can be a good thing if you know how to work it, its a convo starter that she will approach you with. Work it!!

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
