I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Ok, I'm not gonna read any of that article, because its way too long and science-y, but I will respond to the title of this thread.
I agree. Not necissarily kindergarden itself, but what happens there. This is usually the first time that a little guy will try to talk to or approach a girl. He just wants to play with her. If she agrees, great. He's on the right path. If she rejects him somehow, then he'll be scarred for life. He'll always be effected by his first approach attempt with a girl. Its a subconcious thing.
Think about it. You see a girl playing with a kool toy, and you want to share. You walk over and say hi, sit down, and start to play with it. She blows a gasket. Crying, screaming, little kid tantrums, you know the deal. Now you, being the little 5 year old you are, don't understand this. You were trying to play with her, and she goes ballistic. This builds up a fear inside you, that maybe if you try to approach a girl again, she may get angry. Its some serious shyt guys.
I'm gonna go with my son on his first day of school, and try to make sure he meets a nice little girl and all goes well. This first interaction is very important.

Not everything. In kindergarten I didn't learn how to put it to some chick.
I remember I was with a couple of friends at the computer lounge and we started a random program with some animal videos. The first sex I ever saw was between 2 gazellas. And the next day I asked the teacher (I was in 3rd grade): "Teacher, but why do animals put their penis in the female's anus while men put theirs in the female's vagina?" (the video wasn't too clear, as you can easily understand).
The class was shocked and silent. I think it changed my life, because now I'm obsessed with anal sex.
Also, I'm really scared about looking as a maniac to girls and I think this is due to a young girl accusing me of taking her to the toilet with a friend of mine and trying to look at her "dooby-dooby". Too bad that I was in 2nd grade and I didn't even know what a "dooby-dooby" was. Obviously my mother shouted at the teacher that she was gonna sue her and the child's mother if that happened again. Bad experience, believe me. Even today, if I meet that girl again (I heard she got pregnant at 12), I'm fùcking gonna slap her bùtt and spit in her face, litterally.

Yea, im pretty sure it has an affect to an certain extent, but people can change so yea...take it for what you will. In kindergarden i cried the first day and it was ****ty. I dont remember a specific event that was tragic, but i DONT remember my parents telling/showing me how to socialize; my mom was/is kinda overprotective.

Another thing I forgot to mention is that when I was in Kindergarten (by the way, it's elementary school, isn't it?), the first couple of times I "fell in love", I would tell my mother and I would recommend her not to tell my dad and brothers, because I was sure they would make embarrassed about it. Guess what, she would always tell them. All the way since 3rd grade to my High School Junior Year (!), my game was really affected by this, since I would always walk on egg shells, making sure my parents wouldn't hear about my relationships, which obviously lasted, at the very most, a couple of days.

Man, the kinder I went to was VIOLENT. Some kids would get into a fight and next thing you know some dude has blood out of his mouth. Even the girls got into fights with each other.
