"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

If you have an instagram, and only 1-6 people like your pics, will that be a turnoff to women?

She might think I'm some lonely guy with no personality.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Seriously? this sounds like something a woman would be concerned about.

If you are going to use social media then make sure you have a good presence otherwise just don't do it.

A while ago I pulled up my fbook account on an anonymous computer. I tuned what was visible to represent me the way I wanted to be represented.

So for example when someone you don't know looks at your profile it shows them the top 5 of your "likes", the rest are hidden. So I made sure the first 5 represented me properly. I left the more radical/controversial "likes" at the bottom so they would not show to the public. Like that if someone looks me up they can't tell i'm a total left wing liberal wack job.

Which is why I made this thread, genius.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

My point was why would you care what some broad thinks of you based on how many followers or likes or whatever **** you have on instagram? what kind of person would sit and worry about that, is that who you want to be? *shrug* I guess if knowing helps you get laid more then sure...

Social media (facebook/instagram/twitter/ whatever the next big thing is) is an invention for women. and we all know that what women really look for on social media sites is Validation and nothing else.

As a man you should be out there doing some adventurous sh!ts and become more interesting as a person every passing day.

if you really care about what other people think about you especially on social media sh!tholes then you have a lot of work to do to become a real man/DJ.

girls are boring as fvck. that's why they seek validation from online attention whoring.
don't be another pvssy who's seeking validation from others like an attention male hoe.

No. I mean don't let it count, it shouldn't bother you to the point that you make a thread about it and relate your ''lowlikecount'' to the plate youre gaming.

A Don Juan doesn't care if his Instagram page isn't filled with gay pictures of idiots with skinny jeans, uggly tattoos, stupid quotes and thousands of followers. You're a confident guy that blows her mind at the actual date, offcourse you can use Facebook and stuff but don't let it count. Don't relate social proof to girls, thats just bullsh1t man. Offcourse a girl will look you up on Facebook and judge your pictures and profile but don't let it count, understand just blow her mind on stage if you know what I mean. And Instagram is just g@y if you ask me.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

^^ two eye opening posts there. Thanks.

Yeah, f*ck instagram. I only use it to look at dope cars, fitness meals, and occasionally fit women.

Pulled my FB on Monday. Tbh I'm sick of people making ****ty convo with me based on their perception of me from FB.

So I'm looking forward to the mystery that comes from being "off the grid". But I'm kinda wondering whether my social life will die as a result...

I think the big thing here is first building an actual solid social network i.e. having lots of friends and colleagues. It then is an avenue where you are invited to things and photo's get taken and you get tagged and then social media posts it. This is better than you taking a photo of your cat and headlining it 'lol.

you will be back on soon. being off fb is worse than being on, as i have concluded. you just have to "check" yourself to make sure you don't go on 10 times a day. if you only worry about your TRUE friends and don't compare yourself, you'll be fine.

Look, I'm going to be honest here. Your statement might be convincing if we didn't already know the kind of guy you are judging by previous posts.

You come across as quite a sensitive chap so these words coming from you do not resonate. Not to mention talking like this sounds fairly retarded.
