I have gotten that exact text from multiple women in the past. Read this very carefully. NOTHING that you write back will get her to stick around and jump into your arms. The BEST possible move you can do is not to respond. Delete her number, and move on. No response, being indifferent, is the ultimate move you can do. DO NOT respond. Sorry but with the ex in the picture you don't stand a chance, and quite frankly is a complete waste of your time. She will always choose him over you because they have history.

Doing this via text is a lot more telling than what was typed. She has nothing invested in you and/or has no respect for you. Now if she took the time to call you or meet you in person, then that would be different. You can wish her the best and thank her for her candor.
