"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Hi,
I just had the girl of my dreams confessed her love to me. I don't know what I did wrong, but she got scared.... Probably I came too strong about how I felt about her. (and the fact that she lives kinda far away didn't help either)
Anyways she had second thoughts.

I've been dating other girls, Hotties, in an effort to get over her.... But I haven't been able to.

So my Question is....

How Do I know If I am having a case of ONEitis or am I truly in-love?

How can I draw the line between those 2 situations?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Since you are not actively communicating your love for eachother (Notice FOR EACHOTHER) on multiple levels meaning physical and emotional, you can assume that you are not in-love and that this is ONEitis. It will go away with time and practice out on the field with other women as well as doing positive things with your life.

Now, Why would she freak out when I indirectly and subtly told her I may love her back?

Now...there's an Ilogical behavior I would like to have explained...!

That's your first mistake. Expecting logic from chicks.

My responses to "I love you" in the past:

"Word?"
"I love football"
"You don't love me. You just love my doggystyle."
"I know. My bad, I mean thank you."

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

ONE-I-TIS: won-I-tis - n: The act of a male focusing all of his efforts on one female and believing she is the best for him without simultaneously sarging other women in order to make an authentic comparison to determine her worthiness.

Should I always come with a Cold response? even when I may be in-love?
"Always" doesn't apply. Saying "I love you" isn't black and white. It depends on the girl and situation. It's not about being cold, but I personally wouldn't say it to a girl that I don't even see.

But if she "confessed her love", then you doing the same shouldn't have driven her off. Unless you were weird about it. The fact that you're asking this question is proof you have one-itis. If the girls you were dating were really HB's, you wouldn't think twice about it. Especially over a girl that doesn't live close to you.

To be honest, I question your post.

I once freaked out when a girl I loved told me she loved me. My friends all say I'm a little ***** so maybe your girly is going through what I did.

"Oh my god, I'm not ready for LOVE! There is still so many chicks to ****!"

Or maybe she just wants you to prove your love.
