"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I got into this highly selective summer research program at my school. They only take 15 people in the whole nation. Today, I found out that my one-itis got accepted as well. It's going to be very awkward for me, and it will definatly distract me from my goals.

Earlier, I was obsessed with this girl. The way she treated me made me feel like very bad, so I just stopped talking to her, and destroyed our "friendship". When I look at her, I feel like throwing up out of sadness, that's how bad I had/have it. She treats me very badly, and now that we are going to be in the same program, I know that I'm going to cave in to her games. The only way I can deal with her is by avoiding her. Now I can't even do that. What do I do?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

If this is indeed a highly selective research program, how about worrying about your career ambitions and forget even talking to this girl.

Also, there might be other people you can get to know.

The problem is that we all have to work together. I just want to stay away from her! She emasculates me every time we talk!

15 people in the whole nation and she got picked as well? What are the odds, eh?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Since you got into the research program, don't drop out of it because of some chick acting like a b*tch, even if she is your oneitis. The program is too good to bail on, both for the resume and the actual experience.

Consider the added drama of this girl as just another learning experience.

I'd say that you should be civil, but indifferent to her. Treat her as a coworker, nothing more. If she treats you rudely or tries to emasculate you, call her on it. If she does it in front of other people in the program, neg her to turn the tide in your favor.

Also: make sure you make some friends in the program IMMEDIATELY! They will be allies to support you when she tries to knock you down, and provide the social proof that you aren't who she says you are.

Also, what kind of 'friend' treats you like shyt?

Why don't you be an AFC (I mean, pretend to be one if you are not) and tell her you love her? According to dj theory, this will turn her off so bad SHE will avoid YOU. Problem solved.

anymore advice guys?
Grow some ballz and stop letting yourself feel infatuation for girls who don't treat you right.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
