Recently spoke to a girl.She tells me that a guy she knows has called her asking if he can stay at her place overnight as he cant get home.She knows this guy has interest in her.
She,s told me that she would allow me to sleep on her sofa but she wont let the other guy because she fears he may have thoughts of sleeping in her bed.
Now have i just been dumped firmly into her friend zone or should i make a excuse and get round to her place n test her sofa.
For the record my reply was,no I'll want to sleep in your bed,you'll be on the sofa.

the reason came about cos our cities football team had played away from home that night and thousands of us were arriving back home in the early hours of the morn.This girl lives close to the city centre where the coaches were dropping supporters off.I'd been away and i presume the other guy had also.I like everyone else normal,just wanted to get a taxi home as it was 4am and with work the next morn i was a bit on the tired side.

Aye lol.The game us invented almost 200 years ago and called football,until America decided to change it to soccer. The word soccer in England is taboo.

Just asking cuz here in South America they call soccer football( which is very logical) as well. It is just that I have heard, but not seen that there is a European league of American football, and I thought tht England, if this really did exist, probabely participated in it.

Theres little to no interest in american football in this country.It was tried in the 80,s but did nt get any support.Our two codes of rugby are similar but we dont bother with the padding and the game moves more freely.

Rugby looks like an awesome game. I have some ozzies that are my friends and they play rugby a lot. They tell me it is fun. I'd give it a shot.
