She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
Well number one, don't use texts like that. Texting is cancer to attraction. I'm not sure what the context is, what is she trying to do? It seems though you whined about a lack of attention from her which is a bit weak, then tried to regain frame and it looks like you mostly failed. You should have just withdrew your attention as that is the best currency you have early on.
It's really hard to tell exactly what's going on with context and previous messages though.

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
I just don't get the point then. Just ignore the text, block her number. If a girl is contacting you then you want to encourage it, not make her afraid to text you. Replying when you feel like it is fine, but punishing her for it doesn't make sense if you want her as a plate.

Most of chicks drivel is pointless. The points is that she is still reaching out. And you're meant to at least pretend to have feelings. Whether or not you like the person a couple of words of sympathy about somebody's house Burning Down would probably have played well. Mate I hope this is just you having an off day.
