"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

That's gay, if you ask me. Women can get away with that, but not men.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Jesus, this is the weirdest thread on this board I've ever read.

Here's this guy, who has this supposedly super hot chick just tossing herself at him, and his best plans are

a) laugh at her and get in some mind-game until she leaves

b) go dance by himself until she leaves.

LO frickin' L

And it's not like it's even "all push and no pull". He doesn't even NEED to pull.

Words mean nothing. Never give a woman's words more than a few seconds of thought. Actions are all that matter.

So she's like, "Ok", smiles, darts off and walks away, and goes home.

Case closed - her walking off is all that mattered. The words she used are just childish foolishness and don't mean anything.
Agreed.

Edger, you've claimed your game is "98% there", but this is weak. First of all, "why arent you dancing?" is not really a cold approach, IMO; it's just annoying. Women will dance to anything with a discernable beat after a couple of drinks.

Second, when you did make a move to dance with her she goes away---that's your cue to forget about it.

Third, you're over-eager, plain and simple. Better to err on the side of less rather than too much.

I don't know if this was mentioned before but I think this was a case of too much push and not enough pull :D. But seriously I think some of the replies were to critical. Like I alluded to earlier, edger's C+F should've been more playful and flirting and not so standoffish or even insulting.

Realsmoothie, the main reason I told her, "I'll talk to you in a bit, let me dance to this song" was because I wanted to play aloof a little, and keep her guessing a bit, since she pulled that "So, do you wanna f*ck me" line on me. Makes perfect sense to me to play it up the way I did. Her interest level was questionable, so that was the best course of action. I think any guy here would've resorted to it.

Second, WOW, I played around with her jokingly and made fun of her while she was dancing. It's called FLIRTING. "Playfully flirting". It was obvious I was playfully kidding around with her. I made it obvious I was kidding. This chick just happens to have no sense of humor, or is too socially inept to know I was kidding. I've joked even more extreme with many other chix, and they never got offended or wallked off on me, or stopped calling me, and I also slept with them too. In all honesty, this is the only woman that I can remember that has ever taken my playfulness personally.

If you think this was bad, then tell me, what would've been YOUR best solution?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I agree with BibleBelt. That's why I said in the very beginning of this thread that I lean more towards the side that she wasn't interested.

The only part of my game that could've been a little better was my reaction to her, "So, do you wanna f*ck me" remark. I said to her, "I never said that". I could've worded it better. The problem here was, she could've taken it that I was ashamed of my sexuality(which wasn't the case at all), or that it was just a bad response on my part in general. I meant one thing, but she very likely could've interpreted it as another. But my response was a spur of the moment type thing, I had to snap back at her quick. It's not the easiest thing in the world all the time, especially when it's the first time a chick throws this at you. I think I did somewhat decent here. Had I hesitated and tried to conjure up a line to throw back at her, I would've really hurt my game. Like i've said many times before, nobody's game its 100% perfect. It's impossible to have perfect game with a woman. But I definitely think it was up there.

It's funny, other guys can f*ck up their game(and f*ck it up bad) and still land the chick...but the day I f*ck up a little, boom, it's over for me..lol. I know there are guys out there who f*ck up worse than I did here, and still land the babe. Also, look at all the AFC's out there who's game's are atrocious, who are married to hot babes. Look at a lot of these guys who are wishy washy wife/girlfriend pleasers who act like p*ssies...yet their hot significant others are still with them.

Edger - you have been reading " DJ for Dummies" again ?

THis girl showed enough interest in you,and sent you enough buying signals for you to work with. She handed you the raw ingredients - it was your job to bake the cake.
I just do not understand why you make these posts. Invariably you 'lose the girl' or hit a brick wall and then you lament the outcome on SS.
When the guys here point out how you blundered, or could have done it better, or you are given a debriefing which does not please you, you resort to defending all your behavior which ultimately led to you losing the girl.
YOu seem to be more invested in your belief in your "methods" than you are in finding a better way.

IN particular I wet myself when I read that you walked away from her and danced alone "..because I wanted to play ALOOF a little.." Sheesh ..

To quote Dr Phil, " Based on results, how is that working for ya ?"

Hah, I don't reveal such things around here..I'd rather keep my idenity personal..especially with all the wackos here. If I told you the exact places I hang out, all I'd need is for someone from this board(who lives in the NYC area)to show up..and possibly figure out it's me, based on the description I've given of myself here..lol. Last thing I need is for people to know what I look like. Who knows, it seems I'm loved by some around here, who knows if they might be my next career opportunity or my future girlfriends brother/cousin/father, etc., and decide to disqualify me(in the case of employment)or talk negatively about me(to the girl I'm interested in, or am with) because they love me so much...lol. You never know with the internet, we live in a small world...that's why I advise everyone keeps themselves anonymous. Hah, maybe I'm being too paranioid aout people figuring out who I am, but it's true, you never know, and I don't wanna take that risk. I'm sure many of you here feel the same.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

If you run into this chick again, you should act normal for a while and see how she responds. I've gotten laid by all of a sudden being nice (not afc nice) after being a total prick for days or weeks, to chicks. I usually didnt even like the chick, hence the attitude, but if you pull the switcheroo, sometimes it makes them chase you. Try it, cuz you're ****iness aint workin! You seem like you're afraid to be yourself, and you hide behind a huge bad attitude. Im guilty of the same thing actually. It needs to stop. Both of us.

Horaholic-

I made it obvious to her that I was being playful and what my true intentions were when I made fun of her dancing...it was evident in my mannerisms and gestures. She shouldn't have been so dumb and should've caught onto that. Yeah maybe the fact that I told her "I wanted to dance to the song, I'll catch up with her in a bit", might've come off a little prickish. I was aiming for aloofness, not to be a prick. But I felt had to be aloof, because from the beginning, I've questioned her interest.

I'm never a prick to chix, I'm playful. I always stress being nice(of course not AFC nice), but funny and playful at the same time.

?? What other girls have I posted about besides this one and the hot one from Canada who got annoyed and literally walked away with a puss on her face because I refused to buy a drink for her, after she insisted I buy her one.

The reason I find this particular encounter so funny is that she was coming right at you directly, and you went into some kind of "game" mentality. You didn't NEED to do all that crap. It wasn't that she "had no sense of humour" or was "socially inept", she was going PAST all that crap and straight - pretty much - to wanting to f*ck you.

"Do you wanna f*ck me" is NOT QUESTIONABLE interest level, in my opinion. Like someone else said, you let your ego get in the way. I'm guessing that said "f*ck me" comment made it sound like she was in charge, and you subconsciously wanted to be in charge so you tried to change the frame.

If it was me, and the girl was really that hot, I'd roll with her version of affairs for a little while. I mean, geez, she did all the dirty work for you, and you stuffed it back in her face.

This is a classic case of CF backfiring. You should have just danced with her instead of acting ****y. Gotta know how to read um.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

The irony I see in all this, the answer to her original question appears to be a big YES.
I wonder what would've happened if edger would've met her bluntness for bluntness and told her, "Yes babe, I would."

Like Biblebelt and Colossus, and I myself had also thought; her walking off after I responded to her "So, you wanna f*ck me?" question, showed her true interest level in me. That's my opinion on it. The first thing that went through my mind when she did that was, "If this chick was really interestetd in me, she wouldn't have walked off like that without a number exchange...

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
