"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

A month ago me and this HB9 were hitting things off on a shaky start, timing was bad (recently broken up ex-bf, etc.) We did hook up a little, just simple kissing.

I called things off with her, because she needed time, I knew she wasn't ready for any form of "talking".

Well it's been a month, she's seems lonely, i'm gonna try and start talking to her again. We randomly msg on facebook here and there. But nothing consistent.

How should i handle HB9.0 considering we had already hooked up?, i'm trying to go for the relationship this time. She is LTR material.

I'm def going to ask her out, I dont know whether to ask her out on date (which makes things kinda big deal) or should i just go for the chill watch a movie indoors thing. I could take her out to a party, but I've done that before and I don't think that's good to start up the talking again.

I'm trying things differently this time, I'm tired of hookups, I want something more serious.

Any advice would help

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Does she know the reason you stepped back was because of her exbf? I would just approach her. (Make sure to mention that) but don't get into a full on conversation about it. Just mention it and leave it at that. And if you are looking for a relationship, then I would deff avoid taking her to a party. The indoor movie sounds good. Invite her over to your house and watch a movie on your couch or something. If its talking you want, then this would probably be the best. Just remember to keep your game up, and lay some moves on her.

Good luck.
