I mean... there are several schools of thought with this.

Some guys say "try to make it look like you are just being a friendly chatty stranger".

Other says "be a man, do it directly and don't pretend you are interested in her purse color".

I mean... what are the pros and cons you think?

IMO, being indirect has the advantadge of defusing a lot of ***** shields because a girl doesn't get all defensive.

By the time she realizes you are picking her up, she's already into you (or she should be if you did your game allright).

On the other hand, I think it shows lots of balls to just go for it and say straight, this is the most minimalistic approach, of course "hey girl, I'm busy right now, but would love to chat with you, what's your #??".

I had success with both approaches. I don't think one is better, they are just different, some are better sometimes, other, some other times.

What is YOUR opinion?

It's not about directness or indirectness, but about finesse. You could be making out within minutes of meeting or a subtle as can be.

Some of the best pickups are when you both know what's going on, but it's entirely unspoken. Whatever the flow of things dictates ~

The best thing is to be direct but inderect, meaning you show your intensions in your actions but you dont go up and say "hey wanna Fu**" all while being playfull and funloving.

it's definitely a game of subtleties.

i won't come right out and state my intentions....they know what they are.

however, if a woman asks me why i want to see her/why i'm hanging out with her, i usually tell her i have nothing but the worst intentions. they think i'm joking, too :D
