Hi guys! I wasn't sure if this was the place to post this but it looked like the most relevant forum. It is... misc after all.

I discovered this whole community a few days ago picking up Neil Strauss' book "The Game".

Ever since, I've turned my three month summer break into a project, to see what this community is really like

It'll be great to get to know some of you guys.

lol actually, I was on a few PUA sites, and couldn't find any real active communities that used the bulletin board system of operation like this one, so I joined this one at the suggestion of a PUA reccomended links.

LOL, if you think that's bad, you should see some of the really really, really, really rediculously large communities. Some people there get really bad. Actually, there just happened to be some topics which looked interesting to me

I just don't understand why "the game" got so much attention even before it was released to the public, while hundreds of different types of books are released and never get noticed.

Isn't the Game supposed to be a hidden thing, under the counter?

Its like telling everyone all about the drug dealing underworld. And actually teaching common people the tricks of the trade. If Neil Strauss did the exact same thing about Drug Dealing.. He'd probably be dead by now.

You know what.. I don't need Neil Strauss or his books. He does look like metrosexual.

I'm guessing the game got so much publicity, because it was the "first" book marketed in its category... couple that with the words "Secret Undeground Soceity"... well there you go.

A commonality to all man, and first-mover advantages... you got a winner.
