"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Just wondering, and thinking lately, about past relationships.

Any of you have a LTR where the parents ruined it for you?

Example: feminazi mothers

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Yes however in my case it was an obsessively intrusive single mother.
I felt I was in a relationship with her daughter and her.

I had a short relationship with a girl a few years ago who had a fanatical control freak mother. It was obvious to me that this woman controlled the lives of her three kids as well as her husband. She filled this girls head with all kinds of nonsense and I was convinced that she had a lot to do with the end of things between us. I remember thinking this girl would be a lot better off if she could get out from under her mothers thumb, but that's her problem. Not mine.

Yeah! Her Mother wanted to Bang With me. No Joke.
She was Hot 45, good looking Blonde and skinny.
I turn her down. Big Mistake after that Hell on Earth for my relationship.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Yes. Had a mother interfere because she hated men. She stood between all her daughters and their boyfriends. If the girl your dating is strong enough to stand buy you you can put the manging mother in her place. If the girl is under moms thumb it will never work.

In a way you were. Just not how you wanted.

Yup, I've known several girls with immature, entitled mothers and absentee fathers who were ruined for a relationship with me a long time before I ever came into the picture.

The dynamic of a girl's relationship with her parents is the single most important predictor of her fitness for a LTR.

Makes me think that knowing the parents before going exclusive, is mandatory! Could save a lot of grief.

I don't think meeting them is even necessary. I just mention some things about my parents (usually the first or second night I meet a girl)--and they'll tell you everything you need to know.

Red flags to look out for:
-Absent dad (she probably sleeps with a lot of guys)
-A mom whose a user and who "she'll never be like" (she'll be just like her mother)
-A mentally unstable mom (watch out)
-A controlling mother (she'll be controlling)
-Abusive parents (obviously)
-If either mom or dad were habitual cheaters (if mom, she'll probably cheat on you; if dad, she'll probably go cold & avoidant at the first sign of real intimacy)
-A father who is weak, soft, or overly attentive (serial monogamist alert)
-Whether her parents had her at a very young age (high risk pregnancy alert)

None of these things immediately disqualify her, but I'm rarely surprised how things end.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Thanks, that makes things easier!
