"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Sup guys, first off let me say what a great find this website is. this being my first post, a quick sentance or two about myself: i'm 25 & a better than average looking guy, who has always noticed the attraction from women, but had no idea how to handle it. my upbringing wasn't very conducive to developing this aspect of myself, so i've essentially went through life as a AFC. i've learned the hard way looks don't mean **** if you don't know how talk to women. then i found david deangelo, who has totally revamped my outlook on women and the dating world. anyway, on to my question.

i checked the bible, and didn't see any real advice on this. being a native new yorker, i talk very fast. i also tend to talk at a higher octave. i think quick, and am relatively quick witted. i have learned to use this quick speaking style to my advantage to a certain extent - anyone who has seen a bangbus episode knows this style (even though it is fake, it works). but i need help in learning how to slow down my speach and how to properly use my tonality and inflexion to my advantage. you guys are the experts - whats the best way of doing this?

sorry if this has been discussed or if its in the DJB. if it was, please point me in the right direction.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
