"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Hey,
I have a problem that concerns my friend. And I hope I posted in the right place.
It's a really complicated thing really.

There's a girl that he likes and she doesn't like him back and he is all depressed about it. And really over reacting, because I like this girl too but I don't have such problems...
He always talks how she doesn't like none of us and such. And that there are like 0.1% of chance of finding an ideal girl for yourself. And that he gets too attached to people and gets bored of them after some time...

That's true, because our gang has been going out a lot these days and he Is the first to say... No not another bar, lets do something different.

New year is coming, he doesn't want to go out because he cant get drunk because of a medical state and he doesn't want to be out on the cold all night... He want's to celebrate the new year in a different city where I have an apartment empty, but only 6 people want to go... I want a new year with ALL of people I love....

Then the thing is he isn't really happy with his life and overreacts when a girl doesn't want him...
I read that book of pook and it says that you have to be happy with yourself and then you can be happy with someone...well he's not happy with himself, sure he's good when we're going out on party's but then some things make him sad, and when he's sad he listens to sad music and I already told him that's not good, don't overreact, don't worry so much, get over it... and notihng helps..

He's too stubborn.
Any ideas what to do with this guy? :p

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Your friend is a Debbie downer/negative nancy. You kick these *****es to the curb and ditch them. He's a ****ing loser and wants all his friends to do the same. That's ****ing ridiculous. It's like he wants to jump off a cliff and wants to make sure everyone else is tied to him with a rope so they all get dragged along so he doesn't have to be alone.

Please ditch this loser and tell him to go hang out with goths, who have a very pessimistic view on life.

Edit: here's how to proceed. Make bar plans with your willing friends, then at last inform him of your plans. Tell him he is welcome to join. That's the easiest way out without coming off like an *******.
