So my gf sent me this text the other day after she invited me over and I spent the night at her place. It was during the week and I didn't go to job that day (I didn't plan to anyway because of exam that day).

I'll try to translate as accurate as possible since english is not my first language.

"Antr I know you're not angry, but I'm only joking, maybe I'm saying stupid **** for no reason.... I enjoy spending time with you, I didnt think you knew how to act with women, but I can see that you're cute, sweet, nice haha... I think you can see that you're not only a fvck buddy for me, if you were I wouldn't spend so much time with you and talk about everything... You think I'm not glad you came here yesterday evening and spent the night with me? Of course I am, but I know you have alot of olbigations so I feel sorry for you. I'm not a girl that needs attention 24/7 who'll drag you along everywhere and expect the same from you, but I like seeing you in "normal" amounts, I mean more than when we started dating. Over time, you'll see how this stuff works with me"

She sent me this text after she sarcastically told me that I should quit my job so we can be together 24/7 to which I replied that her remark is stupid and left.
Now I know words don't mean **** with girls but what I got from all this is that I should see her less and let her initiate seeing each other from now on.

On average how often do you see her?

It kind of sounds like she is trying to say that she likes you but its ok if you don't see her as much. She is perhaps hinting that she would like some more free time.

I'd ask her in person what she means by all of this.

@Howiestern last week I saw her 4 times, but usually its 2-3 times a week. Maybe she hinted that its 4+ is too much which I agree on.

You guys were right. Things have been going good with her.

However I'm going on a business trip for a month and I don't know how this will affect us. Any advice how I can keep her interest level up when I go away?
