Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

hello DJs I need your help.

In my lab at school, a girl (I would say an 8... hotter than any girl I've been with) is totally hating on me all the time

"wrestling is lame" - she knows I'm on the team
"I hate people who drive" - she knows I drive everyday

yeah she can be a biatch, but occasionally she will come over to me and mess my hair up or sit on my lap.

Is she just playing games?? My boys say she's too much of a scandal for me

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Can you handle her?? From what she is doing tells me that she thinks you don't have the nerve/balls to get her.

Next time she sits on your lap wrestle her to the ground and cop a feel then tie her up and take her for a long drive in your car!!! Then she'll really hate/love you!!

Spot on.

You need to stand up for yourself. When she started making jokes about stuff that you stand for, come right back and make some jokes about stuff she is all about (i.e. her hobbies). Relax and have fun, don't get all bent about it. She's a tease.

you know what, I think you DJs are right. She thinks that I can't keep up with her. I'm just not used to all the touchy/flirty/verbal-battles, as my old GFs have all been pretty low-key and shy, which is the type I kind of like. This girl is driving me crazy though.

One thing I've noticed about women like this, is that they HATE it when things backfire on them. There was one, who was basically/recently my "date" to a concert, and was having a steak dinner "on me" and when some others joined us, and I referred to her as my date, she made a comment "Thats news to me" and the others at the table had a great laugh at my expense.....it was only a joke, but it made me look like a loser/idiot....then she basically flaunted herself all over the concert audotorium, and paid little attention to me, we went dancing afterwards and she ignored me, and had the audacity to complain about men, all on the 45 minute ride home (For which I alone sprang for gas)....

Fine and well, she blew up her ego, and cost me about 66 bucks....no huge loss, but today, when she called me, and wanted a favor, and I more or less told her to get f***ed, sure felt good, and when she figured that she wasnt going to get my help on that favor, she was in the process of saying "goodbye" when I prematurely hung up the phone on her! She shouldnt be too shocked when I no longer work out with her, and help her in the gym on Wednesdays, and she will miss the drinks afterwards, let some other sucker spring for her beer.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
