I sat down with a couple girls at lunch today, just the usual "hey what's up, mind if I join you guys" type of thing. Anyway, I was pretty good at keeping things sexual and interesting with the conversation... once we were done I just said "give me your number, I might need some entertainment again tomorrow at lunch". Anyway, I grab the phone, type in her name and pass it to her for the number (I like doing this fyi, it tells them that I know their name and that they're going to have to do the work - ie: punch in the number)... she looks at it and laughs out loud cause I put her down as 'Amanda McNiceAss'.

I thought that was a decent approach to number closing and might be something that you might want to try/have tried. Her reaction seemed pretty positive.

Any advice? Did I come off as being too strong or too into her maybe?

Did you build enough rapport with her? Otherwise she might flake on you, and you wouldn't be able to continue with the sarge.

Nah I definitely had built it up. I ate lunch there with them for like 15 minutes or so... it felt pretty good to do it.
