I have seen this advice given by many people to a younger girl that might be interested in dating an older man.

The theory seems to be that an older man for example, a 45 year old man, is only interested in a 20 year old for one thing. i.e. he only wants her body. What else could he possibly want from you?!

I keep seeing this advice being given over and over again to younger women. Stay away from him. He is only after one thing.

My answer is SO What?! Here is a news flash. Most 20 year old guys are after girls for just one thing as well! They hardly want a relationship.

And the assumption is that the 20 year old girl does not want the same thing from the older guy. Why the assumption? Maybe all she wants is a physical relationship as well? Why can't girls also be with a guy for the same "one thing". We know they enjoy it as much as we do!

Either way, I find this ridiculous advice.
 

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

and if he didn't want that one thing, he would be making friends with GUYS (who are logical and less flaky) instead of wasting time with immature young ladies. Some people just need to get a clue about what gender roles and relationships are all about.

Advice means sh1t anyway to most young chickies now a days.

If a woman makes up her mind to sleep with someone there is little anyone can do in this world that can stop her, especially with words.

Only low-medium interest girls will listen to this advice.
