HB asks me questions she already knows the answer to?

I have been getting to know a HB 8.5 over the past couple of weeks, although nothing has happened yet. This week, I have been away on vacation with family. Usually, such a situation is a problem with me and HBs I'm macking, because I don't know how to keep the iron hot, but also don't want to appear desperate.

However, HB 8.5 has texted me 2 times during the week with a question each time - ones I'm sure she already knows the answer to:

1 - She asks if I am around. She knows I am away for the week. Or should, because I brought it up in a convo a few days prior. She was "just curious."

2 - She asks if a particular public figure (who I would know) shares her name. Again, she knows the answer to this because I joked about it last week. A quick Google search also yields the answer.

Either she is interested or wants attention. I've never seen this approach before, so I wanted to see if you had any prior experience with this sorta thing.

Its a good thing shes initiating conversations with you. Girls arent logical when it comes to dating/relationships, so if they feel like talking to a guy it doesnt even have to make sense.

Good stuff. I met HB 8.5 inside of 2 weeks before I left, so it's still at the beginning stages. Chances are I'd have made a move by now if I weren't away for the past week-week and a half. I'd rather take care of this in person than over the phone from many miles away.
