"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Well, if some of you recall, I just had a fling a month back which didn't work out. This is when I took a break from a relationship that almost lasted three years. Last night, we ended it officially.

I know how to act in these situations, because I've been through this and going crazy, crying, and over-reacting doesn't help at all. I just said "I respect your decision, good-bye."

Then I realized, I have nothing to fall back on. The only thing I'm going to carry everywhere is myself and I have NOTHING. That hurt me deeper than losing a three year old relationship.

My job is great from the outside. I'm a hairdressing educator, so it's fashionable and quite prestigious. It pays decently, but inside it's really just something that takes up very long hours and is mentally and physically exhausting.

These few months have taken it's toll as we have so many things to do, and more coming up. I'm not sure if this field is for me anymore. I don't look forward to work, which I think is bad.

I wish I could have a life to look forward to. Something that would jumpstart me from bed each day. I guess that would be too much to ask for, because I could sense most of you guys are searching for the answer as well.

Just needed to get that off. Good night.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Thanks for the fast reply.

Problem is, my hobbies aren't really productive enough to earn a living, especially in an Asian country where choices are little.

I like gaming. I like martial arts. I'd like to be an Ultimate Fighter but so many countries don't have things like that. It's the only thing I can think of right now. Anything else doesn't turn me on.

Some of the best hobbies aren't productive, they are just fun. Enjoy playing and let that joy permeate the rest of your life.

Dude, don't you have like the perfect job? Are you not surrounded by attractive women all the time? It seems like most hairdressers are female, and they are for the most part an attractive group of women. Plus, you are the instructor, which is major social proof. And even better, the training is probably not that lengthy, right? This would mean that you frequently have an eager new cast of prospects.

So wtf are you complaining about? Don't you think the guys here who are computer programmers and engineers would love to be able to meet the women that you must meet through work? You have a skill that fascinates most women. They should flock to you.
