"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Hi,

Haven't been on this forum for a while - and what has happened to many brave dj's on this board has happened to me a few months ago... I fell for the wrong girl.

I always read posts on this forum with disbelief - how could these guys fall for such nutcases and never see it happen? And guess what? It happened to me. I was dating 4 girls at the time and I decided to go exclusive with a complete psycho. This relationship started consuming my social life, my mind and my well-being (not to mention my game ;-) ). Luckily it only lasted for months and not for years and I managed to gain some insight into my pathetic situation and make a move - to run for my life!

Without elaborating too much, all I want to do is to ensure that I break up with this girl today. I have tried before and it didn't work out, so I am holding myself accountable by letting all you fellow dj's know that today I am going to be a new man. I am going to be the Zulu everyone knows and start playing the field again. If there is someone out there that I am supposed to spend the rest of my life with, it's certainly not this broad - it's time to let her go.

Thanks guys for your virtual support! I am heading out now to close the deal - will keep you posted later tonight.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Give us ideas on the stuff that make her a psycho. And if she is in her 30s or 40s.

By the way...I'm serious about this. You sharing your experience can help others (including MYSELF) detect possible psycho behavior from our partners/potential partners.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Ok guys, it's done. Thanks for all your support.

I know for some it might seem strange, but sometimes our minds are easily manipulated by other individuals. I will soon go into the details so that everybody on this board will have a chance to learn.

For now, I am just taking a break, and hitting the bars :D

....Or is it ourselves allowing our own minds to wander down unhealthy, unproductive paths?

Well, pyscho b1tch AW's don't seem to help much either ;)

But they sure are good at ejecting us out of the Matrix when the time arises :)

Great you come to a good realization. This is exactly what happends to "enlightened-AFCs" who proclaim themselves to be "DJs". They hang around in the forum, soak themselves with bit of informations from the forum and they go about claiming they master the act of djism. Lots of lessons need to be learn, my bro zulu.
