"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

People naturally become like people they hang around with. I don't have many friends because I choose too. I would rather be alone (while being friendly and outgoing) then hang around with negative chumps who bring me down to their level. I have been helping people for as long as I remember and that hasn't done ANYTHING good for me. I need to find some pimps/DJs to hang around with. I am not going to be brought down by some chumps who don't know anything.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I hang out with friends because they share the same interests as me, are fun to be around, or because they will help me meet new people. If I wanted to be with another DJ, I'd have a wingman.

Maybe you don't understand that these guys either don't want to do anything social, just play sports, OR they want to go and smoke and drink. Not my kind of thing. And NONE of them are DJs. They all bring me DOWN. Trying to give me advice and everything. And the thing is that when you try to help them, they all gang up on you and they you that your wrong. Eventually you'll become like your friends. (AFCs) PEOPLE NATURALLY BECOME MORE LIKE THOSE AROUND THEM, HENCE THEIR AFC FRIENDS. THIS IS WHY I'M PROBABLY NOT GOING TO HAVE MANY FRIENDS FOR A WHILE. THEY JUST WASTE MY TIME AND NEVER MAKE MY GAME BETTER. IT'S CALLED A BAD INFLUENCE.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

There are many different traits and talents within everyone. When you look at the bad you may fail to look at the good in your freind. When being influenced ignor the bad while your working on the good. I have alot of friends that are afc, but they have so many talents it just take time for me to realize it. One might be good at socielizin, anothey might be good at making instint rapport. So i would benefit off there good traits. If i was you i would teach my freinds to become more of a dj so they can be succesful wingmans. However if they do not listen to your glorious advice then its simply becuase of the lack of respect, therefore its your role to demand respect from them.

Well, I prefer to have fun with friends, rather then pimp myself out with chicks.

Ok that wasn't intirely true, because even if I was pimp master of the universe, which I am, I would still hang out with the people that I used to hang out with. They share the same interests as me, we have history, they might not be totally popular, though they are likable, I still want to hang out with them.

It just depends on who your friends are, and who you are.

I know that post had a point, I just don't remember it.

Oh, and don't spray cans of axe over a candle, it is a bad idea, no matter who you are.

It's funny, I wrote about this a while ago and basically the same things were said in response.

Trust me the friends you surround affect how you act. If you don't like who you are when you're with your "friends" then maybe you should find some better friends.

Here's the link if you're interested.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
