You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
:cuss: Not good in the middle of training.HandyAndy said:Was at the gym with my friend today. I decided to test my bench max, i got 205, 5 more pounds from a month or so ago.
I know how you feel, I hate squats too. Perseverance is the key though, I will not be beaten by it. I have been stuck at around 250lbsx1 for an age. I will get over 300lbs rain, hail, or shine. Then 400...HandyAndy said:Damn, I'm not doing anything about my squats yet. I need to work on my form its terrible even with just the bar, I feel hopeless.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
I've squatted with the widest stance possible but my knees buckle in no 'matter what. I've been watching videos on proper squat form, today at the gym ill try it out and see how I do.Quagmire911 said:I know how you feel, I hate squats too. Look into a wide stance. I think you told me you are inflexible and you are tall so you will be better to suited to a wide stance. Also look on stronglifts.com for lots of stretching etc. You probably have tight hip flexors/hamstrings etc etc...
You just need to work at it and eventually it will come.
What I would probably do for you is to have you start doing high box squats, and week by week lower the box height. Whilst practicing form, making sure to maintain your arch etc. Eventually you will be able to do it, it will just take time. Will be worth it in the end.
Try and get a video of you squatting with a light weight, or as high as you feel you could go without f**** something up, so we can try and help you out a bit more.
Keep it up...
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
