Master Don Juan
Well if her ex is replaced after a week by a new "soul mate" you know how fast you will be replaced once another "soul mate" comes along.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
But if a girl's BPD then they can forget someone fast, right?Die Hard said:There is no need for signs... People who have shared a relationship for 3 years ARE still attached to each other so soon after the breakup, there is no question about it. You don't need any signs to know that...
Hmmm...I don't know if it was replaced so quickly necessarily. They had broken up twice before. She has said that it was along the lines of her ex not wanting to be more a part of her family (she has kids). To be honest, I'd prefer if she just said something about how she was already emotionally moving on from the relationship before the breakup with the ex, but she hasn't said that to me.QuadDeuces said:Well if her ex is replaced after a week by a new "soul mate" you know how fast you will be replaced once another "soul mate" comes along.
Yes, if she is BPD, she has probably moved on from him already. Also, if she's BPD, she will be a great and loving partner to you.onitalways said:But if a girl's BPD then they can forget someone fast, right?
I take it that was sarcastic?Die Hard said:Yes, if she is BPD, she has probably moved on from him already. Also, if she's BPD, she will be a great and loving partner to you.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
Yeah, I know I've said some AFC things, but she seems to be really interested and especially LOVES being showered with attention. This isn't an early 20s bimbo we're talking about, this woman is mid-30s and different. I'm giving her LOTS of attention, and I think it's making her forget her ex.JoeMarron said:Haaaa bro youre gonna get fked at this rate. You shouldnt be moving this fast with ANY chick much less one that you suspect of being BDP. Stop treating her as if she were your sole purpose for living when youve only known her for 2 weeks. Go date other women, live your life, hobbies ect. and PLEASE read the DJ bible. You have no excuse to be this ignorant.
unless you put a ring on her finger soon you wil lose heronitalways said:Yeah, I know I've said some AFC things, but she seems to be really interested and especially LOVES being showered with attention. Well she's not the jumping short (the long marriage and the long relationship). She is mid 30s with kids. Compliments seem to work with women like this.betheman said:unless you put a ring on her finger soon you wil lose her
Will do. I have read stuff before which suggests not to compliment too much. She's kinda low self-esteem (puts herself down a bit). She's not a beauty queen type is what I mean. Surely it's different for this type of girl!?PairPlusRoyalFlush said:Read the DJ Bible ASAP
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
she will live it even more, why procrastinate? its valntines day, get on that bended knee and submit your very soul to this most angelic creature that God himself has seen fit to presetn you with, a gift from the heavens no lessonitalways said:Will do. But she's LOVING it now! Will she not in the future?
to make you jealous, to be aware that should you drop the baton, there is some other guy ready to catch it before it hits the floor and that his c0ck will be in her mouth before you get back to your home.onitalways said:Well I'm glad to say we're still together. Despite her randomly bringing up the ex in conversation. I don't know why she needs to tell me that he contacted her. Why do women do that?
She's only messaged him a couple of times since they split just over a month ago.betheman said:to make you jealous, to be aware that should you drop the baton, there is some other guy ready to catch it before it hits the floor and that his c0ck will be in her mouth before you get back to your home.
that makes you take your eye of your priorites, you value her even more, your head becomes full of 'what ifs' then you start to develop the mentality that you cant do without her, you become dependant...its in the bag my dear boy. she has won!
All I see is you rationalizing why you should take this relationship seriously when everyone has given plenty of reason not to. Not only are you breaking the fundamental rules of the game but youre doing it with a low self esteem bdp chick. Reread this thread a billion times when everything blows up so youll know never to put yourself through this madness again.onitalways said:Yeah, I know I've said some AFC things, but she seems to be really interested and especially LOVES being showered with attention. You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
