Guys giving too much attention

So basically I'm pursuing this hot chick who seem to be getting a lot of attention lately by the guys, everything was going well and nicely until these guys gave her attention, she started to be allof and cold... Has anyone faced this kind of situation where 5 other guys are on the same girl and don't know how to do it right ?
I realised that by not giving her attention she comes running to me ( espression ) trying to open up a convo and to talk with me. So basically I wanted your opinions on this one and it might help other guys !

Be different and act distant, she may want all the attention from the guys but by being different you give her something to chase and wonder about. You must stick to this strategy though if you want to bang her. I tried the same thing with this girl ive been seeing for the past month and she started chasing me and I went afc and gave her my time and attention too quick and she tried to use me for it. Be careful and keep the frame that its HER who should be chasing YOU. If she is really interested she will bite, just keep her hooked and when you go out with her show her your fun side and that you can have a good time. Dont take disrespect from anyone and if she tries to test her boundaries (ie, disrespecting you) put her in her place and dont be afraid to walk away.

Personally I do agree to an extent with the post above. However, her being attracted isn't really a given, but reading the OP I'd say she might be. I'm having the pleasure of driving through a township atm (something only niño has the pleasure of) and these guys are extremely positive, atleast the kids. Be positive. Anyways, be direct too. The window will close someday. Even if she might chase you, you're still the man; you also need to chase some tail and close the deal. Have some options.
